This October 4, 2022, the Veterans Memorial & Support Foundation will celebrate its 10th year anniversary. Over the last decade, the Veterans Foundation has raised funding to support the building and maintenance of The Flame of Liberty Memorial, community educational endeavors, and programs designed to improve the lives of active service members, veterans, and their families. The Foundation Committee is staffed 100% by volunteers and the Veterans Memorial & Support Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit entity. All donations and initiatives are directed in support of our local community.
The Veterans Memorial & Support Foundation mission is to:
- Build/maintain a world class memorial in the heart of Silicon Valley that delivers honor, respect, gratitude, and healing to those who served. (Accomplished – The Flame of Liberty Memorial, dedicated 6/15/2019.)
- Improve the lives of active service members, veterans, and their families. (Ongoing)
- Through the Flame of Liberty Memorial Institute, educate Silicon Valley communities on the sacrifices borne by those who serve. (Ongoing)
